In order to gain weight you must eat a lot more than you think. If you eat too much though, you might end up gaining fat. I am talking about eating right and proportioning your food so you can have 6 different meals a day. I know this sounds like a lot for some and not to mention many of you will think you do not have that amount of time during your day. It is possible, you will just need to plan your meals out right.
If you have a fast burning metabolism, then you need to get into a high calorie diet with lots of protein. Having the right amount of food in your diet will help you build some lean looking muscle. The biggest problem that people have today is that they simply don’t eat enough food to pack on muscle, and they get disappointed with the results.
First things first, go out and pick up a food scale for yourself. You need to begin measuring the intake of food for yourself. If you don’t measure the food, how can you know if its too much or too little?
If you are not measuring how much food you eat, you could gain or lose weight. You will find that you won’t get it right every time. Measuring your meals will get easier every time you do it.
The usual 3 meals a day will not work anymore for you. If you are wanting to pack on muscle, then you need to keep a steady flow of nutrients and energy coming in. Three meals a day is not going to give you that. You are going to have to stop eating 3 meals a day and bump it up to 6 a day, this way you eat every 2-3 hours. If you want to stop having crappy results and pack on muscle, then you need to find a plan that works out for you and stick to it.
